New Candidates undergo months of intensive training through established programs at the LEASOT Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
​
For officers, this is followed by a 14-week specialized on the job training at the assigned account. Training includes coursework in On Site Security procedures, Equipment, physical fitness, community relations, customer services, first aid, laws of arrest, search and seizure, physical defense techniques, and protocol for operations within the assigned post and the company.

For agents, upon successful completion of the many courses at the LEASOT academy, this is followed by a 180-days of Agent to Supervisor training period. This period focuses on specific operational policies and procedures associated with the many responsibilities of the the agents duties. Trainees are provided with basic knowledge and advanced application training in combating security threats, criminal activity, investigations, physical protection techniques, protective advances and emergency procedures. The core curriculum is augmented with extensive training in marksmanship, control tactics, high risk operation skills and physical fitness.

WRS armed agents and officers receive continuous advanced training throughout their careers. In part, this training consists of regular firearms requalification and emergency response refresher courses. Agents assigned to protective assignments also participate in unique crisis training simulations that present agents with a variety of "real world" emergency situations. Agents assigned to clients in the field have the opportunity to acquire advanced training in the area of criminal investigations and are also encouraged to attend training sessions sponsored by other law enforcement agencies.

All WRS employees participate in a wide variety of management and individual development courses. Ethics, Diversity, Interpersonal Awareness, Practical Leadership and Introduction to Supervision are among the topics currently offered to all personnel at WRS Concepts.

Physical Fitness Standards
The fitness evaluation measures strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity in four core elements. The core elements are Push-ups, Sit-ups, 100 meter sprint, and the 1.5 mile run. The fitness evaluation will be administered at the beginning, during, and end of training. WRS carrying employees are additionally required to participate in this Physical Fitness Evaluation quarterly.​
